2. I am reading 'Tis by Frank McCourt. This is his second book and it is just as wonderful as his first. I highly recommend it. If you haven't read Angela's Ashes please read that first you won't be disappointed I promise.
3. I hit 500 sales in my Etsy shop this week. I am so pleased with myself. I have been working really hard on marketing efforts. I know it sounds silly but I get excited for every sale.
4. It is officially Christmas time now that Thanksgiving is over. This Christmas tree looks like one I can handle.

1. Now that Halloween is over we can officially talk about Christmas! ha! I just created a hello winter/Christmas doodle set. So excited! I am really happy with how this turned out. 2. I love love love packaging design , especially all the craft beer packaging. It is so creative. I am loving this mermaid sign I saw the other day. I was just wondering how she got all the tattoos? 1. Is there an underwater tattoo parlor? 2. Is there a tattoo artist waiting at the dock's edge to ink her up? 3. Is she like Daryl Hannah in Splash and can dry off and walk around pretending to be human get her tattoos and then dive back into the water? Clearly these are very important questions.

4. This is the best thing I made this week. This is totally going to be in my rotation. Super easy meal as well. I adapted the recipe from a video I watched on Goodful's facebook page.
Roasted veggies with sprouted brown rice and vegan cream sauce
1 Yukon Gold Potato, small dice
1 Sweet Potato, small dice
1 Can of Chick peas, drained and rinsed
2 Bell peppers, cut in large chunks
1/2 Red Onion, diced
15 Brussel Spouts, cut in half or quarters if they are very large
Put all the veggies on a sheet pan and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 425 for 20 mins. Serve with sprouted brown rice and cream sauce below. Enjoy!
THE BEST DAMN VEGAN SOUR CREAM

INGREDIENTS
1 cup raw cashews, soaked overnight
¼ cup + 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
¼ tsp sea salt
1 tsp nutritional yeast
½ cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all ingredients into your blender (I used my Vitamix)
Blend on high for 5-7 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until very smooth and creamy.
Transfer to a mason jar or other airtight container.
NOTES
The best damn vegan sour cream can be stored in your fridge for 1-2 weeks.

Happy Halloween! I hope you all had a great week! Here are some things I'm into this week. Let me know what you think and how your week went.
1. I made caramel apples this week! Yes! I never made them before. At first I was a little intimidated by the whole candy thermometer thing. I actually had to buy one but it was fun and easy. I think they turned out pretty great. They were way better than the ones you buy in the store but everything is better homemade isn't it?
2. Can we talk about the Star Wars themed costumes in my family this year? How awesome! I think Reed would have posed in his costume all day! Brig totally nailed the Rey look right down to the amazing hair style. My sage father playing Obi-Wan Kenobi was perfect. It was a super fun Halloween party. Great food and great fun. Thank you family!
3. I have been hearing about kombucha for a while now. How delicious it is and all the lovely health benefits. Well today I finally tried it. I am going to put it in the category of — I will finish it but I won't buy it again (and by that I mean Chris is finishing it). Also I forgot it was carbonated so I shook it up before I drank it. Please don't do this unless you don't mind spilling drinks all over the place and in that case shake it baby.
4. I am working hard on a new doodle set that I hope to be done soon because it is Christmas themed. So stay tuned for an update.

1. I have been wanting to do a collaborative art project with Reed for a long time, but I was waiting for the right moment. Last week I sent him a drawing of Boba Fett's helmet (He loves Star Wars) and the words "The Sarlacc pit is..." and asked him to finish it and mail it back to me. I was so excited thinking about what he was going to do and he did not disappoint. What I received in the mail was pure magic! He even decorated the envelope with lightsabers. Stay tuned for next week's character.
2. Chris: The girlfriend of my friend at work found out there are puppies available for the breed of dog she wants.
Me: What breed?
Chris: Bohemian Bavarian Witch Dog
Me: hahahaha!
Chris: It's a large breed so he needs a hatch back car.
